As a development from the Autumn Term unit Photographic Principles and Practices (3 October - 9 December 2011), this unit introduces you to issues of post-capture image file management, digital scanning, digital printing and post-production image manipulation skills. An understanding of the requirements for colour management forms an important element of this unit.

A1 To extend your knowledge of digital imaging and its creative potential.
A2 To provide you with opportunities to develop a sound knowledge of post-capture digital management and image manipulation expertise.
A3 To complement the unit Photographic Principles and Practices by extending your knowledge of the operation of the School's post-capture digital production facilities.
