Presentation and Representation

Study Abroad Interior Architecture & Design Modules

Credit Points: 15
Study Time: 150 Hours

Timed in order to give an opportunity for research before the onset of your final Design Project and your Professional Project, this unit will consider the role of your portfolio as a record of your learning; as an effective tool in the communication of your ideas and, most importantly, as a representation of you and your work to the larger community i.e. the employment market.

You will be encouraged to consider methods of presentation that might be more appropriate to the diverse nature of the contemporary design industry and, through discussions with your tutors and your colleagues, enter into a Learning Agreement whereby you detail the presentation and re-presentation of the work you have completed and the work that you still have to do. You should consider that this unit can assist you in setting the tone for the presentation of your final two design projects as well as the reports, letters and curriculum vitae undertaken in PPRD 2. This will ultimately lead to a coherent body of work that you can be proud of.
