The Professional Make-up Project unit is the culmination of your creative and practical work on the course. Drawing together practical and professional knowledge and skills you will write a learning agreement outlining your response to a "vie" or simulated professional brief or briefs.
Through this project you will be expected to demonstrate a professional and creative approach to problem-solving and produce work which shows that you can perform effectively in your chosen field.

A2 To plan, develop and produce a professional standard of creative work in response to a "live" or simulated brief
A3 To prepare you for employment, freelance work or progression for further study
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this unit you will be able to:
LO1 Demonstrate a professional standard of creativity and technical ability, including:
- Work that is technically comparable with that made within a specified context or contexts
- Work that shows an awareness of the design and application of make-up artistry within a specified context or contexts and informed by appropriate theoretical, cultural and historical considerations
- Work that demonstrates a high degree of creative and aesthetic judgement
LO2 Respond appropriately to the demands of a professional/self-initiated brief, including:
- Appropriate creative outcomes to your industry related brief
LO3 Demonstrate readiness for employment, freelance work or further study with confidence in the level of your creative, practical and professional knowledge and skills

Other reference material will vary according to the needs of individual students. You will define reference material through negotiation with staff and list it in your learning agreement
